20th November 2013
Last week was full of fab events of a South Asian flavour! There was plenty of fashion with Masaba Gupta and Pernia Qureshi’s flash mob extravaganza (more details of that later), O’nitaa’s Pakistani fashion catwalk show and Strand of Silk’s Asia House fashion takeover…there was also Conferro Auctions: Vintage Bollywood Memorabilia’s Preview Day at Westbury Gallery. The upcoming auction features collectables such as LP’s, film banners, lobby cards, gramophones and Bollywood posters from some of the milestones of Indian film history, including Mughul-e-Azam and Sholay. If like me you didn’t make it down to the preview day we’ve still got time to take a look- details are at the bottom of the post.
